Before the Session Starts: Using the session
checklist, the room monitor notes any speaker changes,
places the speaker tent cards, and ensures that every
attendee has an evaluation form.
At the Beginning of the Session: The monitor,
moderator, or one of the speakers reads the
instructions. Evaluation forms are preprinted with the
session name and the speaker name(s) so forms are always
associated with the correct session.
And because speaker names are preprinted, every
attendee rates the speakers in the same order regardless
of the speaking sequence(is Sue Barker Speaker #1 on the
form or is it Bob Jones?).
During the Session: The room
monitor collects a copy of all handouts and counts the
number of attendees in the session so evaluation return
rates can be calculated.
At the End of the Session:
The monitor gives a drawing entry form for each
completed evaluation form returned and delivers all the
measurement materials to the conference management room.
-
It’s easier for your room
monitors to administer
- It’s easier for attendees ... which results in
better evaluation form return rates
- You get more accurate results
